The basics…

Intersection Grade Thermoplastic® is a hot-applied white alkyd thermoplastic pavement marking product designed to help minimize skidding and slipping in areas exposed to pedestrian, cyclists, and/or motorcycle traffic. Typical applications would include: crosswalks, turn arrows, bike legends, and stop bars. IGT® is applied using standard hand operated equipment outfitted with a double-drop bead dispensing system at thicknesses ranging from 100-125mils.

Specifications & Performance…

Intersection Grade Thermoplastic® is available in a wide variety of specifications including AASHTO, City/County based specifications, State Specifications, and many Country specific standards with adjustments made to achieve the products designed performance. IGT® provides excellent skid resistance (≥ 55BPN), adhesion, color retention, and retroreflectivity (≥ 275mcd). Our materials are formulated to the highest standards giving our customers the confidence of a durable, long-lasting, and high-performing finished product.
